October 31 Day Movie Challenge

Since it’s now September (whaaaaaaaatttt?), I thought it’d be an awesome time to start planning my movie-watching schedule for Autumn/Winter. A TBW, if you will. TBW = To Be Watched.

A couple weeks ago, I came across this graphic on Twitter and thought why not give it a go. So, that’s the month of October pretty much sorted for me! Although, let me be absolutely clear and state right here and right now that I doubt I’ll be able to watch 31 movies in 31 days. I just ain’t got time for that.

Instead, what I’m going to do is try my best to watch at least 3-4 movies per week.

I may be over-shooting it a bit but I’m pretty confident that’s a number I can just about manage to stick to. What I’ll do is choose the most appealing prompts from the list above and select movies that fit those prompts.

Will you be assembling an Autumn/Winter TBW list? And better yet, will you be taking part in the 31 Day Movie Challenge this year? Let me know if you’d be interested in knowing what prompts I end up choosing and which films I selected to watch. I’d be happy to put together a film round-up for you either during or after the challenge.

  1. I’m catching up on all my blog reading after spending all summer getting a bunch on certifications for my business. So lovely to read you again. I like this challenge! I plan on denning in a lot this fall in anticipation of a second wave. Have you seen The Duchess new comedy series on Netflix? She’s Canadian and has a zany sense of humour. Thought it might be up your alley.

  2. Yes, I always find it impossible to join in these 31 Days Movie Challenges. When I’m working I’m not getting home until close to midnight so it usually rules out watching an entire feature film. But I like to join in to an extent. So I might follow a few days on that graph and see how it goes! I’d be interested to hear what movies you choose Vanessa.

    1. Oh goodness, if you’re getting home that late there’s no way you’d be able to watch a full movie. You’re probably exhausted by that time and just want to go to sleep, huh? Thanks for reading and commenting, Garry!
